Don’t you hate skinny people? I have a friend who can eat anything she wants but never gains a single ounce! Me? Heh ...forget about it! I can gain weight jogging past a donut shop. It’s all about metabolism I guess. Anyway I always have this idea that I’m going to find the perfect program of super Fast Weight Loss and of course, it never works.

I think the true path to fast weight loss is to have patience. I know, that doesn’t really sound like it makes sense, but here me out. Say you join a weight loss program or a health club (or both). Now you try to eat right, you start getting some exercise, you think great – I’m doing all the right stuff – rapid weight loss on its way. Then reality sets in... You weigh in and the numbers just aren’t there. You’ve lost one pound or two, but nothing like you think you “earned” with all that work and sacrifice you put in. Well that’s where the patience comes in...

You see, the scale is just a stupid hunk of metal. It’s not some ruler of the earth that has special powers and if it feels like can grant you a great big easy weight loss. It ain’t like that! Sometimes the scale will tell you you’ve gained weight even though you’re sure you lost. Sometimes weeks can go when the numbers barley budge. Then suddenly you’ll hit a patch of fast easy weight loss. The point is, have patience and the numbers will come. That’s the secret to fast weight loss – it’s really NOT that fast.
